Join us and learn about emergent approaches and technologies that are transforming patient care in geriatric radiation oncology.

Over the course of 6 online sessions, we’re bringing together medical experts, patient partners, and family members to focus on technological advances in the most common sites of cancer that impact older populations. Breast cancer, lung cancer, palliative radiation therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and more will be the focal point for each multidisciplinary session.

Recognizing the collaborative nature of care in radiation and geriatric oncology, this series presents the latest research and advances in treatment alongside perspectives from patients, family members, and caregivers with lived experience.

Our aim is to share available radiation oncology treatment options with more health professionals so that, together, we can improve cancer treatment, care, and outcomes for older adults. We also hope to empower patients, along with their families and caregivers, in their healthcare journeys.
